Infant through toddler

The Infant Program caters to infants beginning at 6 weeks of age.  Both the Infant and Young Toddler classrooms operate at a one-to-four ratio. Our staff members strive to provide a nurturing, fun environment for each of the infants and young toddlers while preparing them for the Toddler Program. Dreamland's Toddler Program cares for children ages 18 months to 3 years old and runs at a one-to-six ratio.

Preschool through Pre-K

Our preschool classrooms are divided into three groups; Preschool 1, Preschool 2 and Pre-Kindergarten. Each classroom follows a comprehensive curriculum focused on meeting the requirements set by the Rhode Island Early Learning and Development Standards.  Each day, our Preschoolers are given access to a wide variety of materials including crafts, manipulatives, literature, puzzles, building toys and dramatic play props. Recognition, writing and reading skills are practiced early to help prepare our preschoolers for Kindergarten.

K through School Age

Dreamland Learning Center offers before and after school care to children up to the age of 12 during the school year as well as full-time care during school vacations. The West Warwick Bus Company offers transportation to and from Wakefield Hills Elementary, Greenbush Elementary, Horgan Elementary, and John F. Deering Middle School. We provide transportation to and from Hopkins Hill Elementary, Tiogue Elementary, and Blackrock Elementary school. Our school age staff members assist each student with daily homework assignments as the children arrive. Once homework is complete, the children are offered a variety of activities to choose from including table games, craft projects and outdoor playtime on our large playground.

Special Programs

Dreamland Learning Centers also provide special programs throughout the year. Child Outreach: The screening of visual, auditory, motor and language development. Child Outreach is provided on-site by the public school department annually at no cost. Summer Program: We are open year round! Our staff works together to plan a fun-filled summer complete with field trips, outdoor water play and a balanced curriculum that continues to encourage your children to learn through play.
